UGC Rewards Program – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the SkillsVault UGC Rewards Program (“Program”). By participating in this Program, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Organizer

This Program is organized and managed by SkillsVault (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

2. Eligibility

To participate in this Program, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Have legally purchased a product from SkillsVault

  • Have an active public Instagram account

  • Have a public Instagram Reel eligible for normal public viewing

  • Be the original creator of the submitted content

  • Reside in a country where such participation is legally permitted

Employees, contractors, affiliates, or immediate family members of the Company may be excluded from participation at our discretion.

3. Program Overview

Participants may receive cashback rewards or cash incentives for creating and posting eligible Instagram Reels featuring SkillsVault products.

Rewards are based on content performance, authenticity, engagement quality, and compliance with these Terms.

Participation does not guarantee any reward.

4. Content Requirements

To qualify for rewards, submitted content must:

  • Be posted publicly on Instagram as a Reel

  • Remain publicly accessible for at least 30 days

  • Clearly feature or discuss the purchased SkillsVault product

  • Be original and created by the participant

  • Include genuine personal experience, usage, review, or demonstration

  • Be at least 15 seconds long

  • Include clear audio, visuals, or readable captions

  • Tag the official SkillsVault Instagram account (if applicable)

  • Include any required hashtags or campaign tags communicated by the Company

  • Clearly display “skillsvault.in” within the video using on-screen text, captions, subtitles, overlays, or visible written mention for viewer recall and brand identification

Additionally:

  • The participant’s real face must be clearly visible in the Reel for a minimum of 5 continuous seconds

  • The participant must naturally appear in the video while explaining, reviewing, demonstrating, or discussing the product

  • Screen recordings only, slideshow videos, stock footage compilations, reposted clips, text-only videos, or low-effort template spam may be rejected

  • The Company reserves the right to reject low-quality, misleading, repetitive, mass-produced, or non-authentic submissions

5. AI-Generated & Prohibited Content Policy

The following content is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate disqualification:

  • Fake reviews or misleading claims

  • Copyright infringement or stolen content

  • Fully AI-generated videos pretending to be genuine customer experiences

  • AI-generated avatars, synthetic humans, deepfakes, or face-swapped videos

  • AI voiceovers falsely representing personal usage or testimonials

  • Mass-produced faceless AI content or automated spam-style content

  • Meme-only or irrelevant viral content unrelated to the product

  • Purchased views, fake engagement, bots, or artificial traffic manipulation

  • Hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or abusive language

  • Adult, violent, illegal, or explicit material

  • False promises regarding income, health, productivity, or guaranteed results

  • Content violating Instagram policies or applicable laws

Minor AI-assisted editing tools such as subtitles, transitions, background cleanup, color correction, or basic editing enhancements are permitted, provided the core content remains authentic and genuinely created by the participant.

The Company reserves sole discretion in determining whether content is authentic, misleading, automated, artificially generated, or non-compliant.

6. Reward Structure

Rewards are subject to change at any time without prior notice.

Current reward structure:

Performance Criteria (Within 7 Days of Posting) Reward

50,000+ Valid Views ₹2,000 Total Reward
100,000+ Valid Views ₹5,000 Total Reward

Additional eligibility conditions may apply, including minimum engagement thresholds and authenticity verification.

All eligible view milestones must be achieved within 7 days (168 hours) from the original Reel posting time. Views accumulated after the 7-day eligibility window will not be counted toward reward qualification.

Rewards are cumulative by milestone level and adjusted against previously paid rewards. For example, if a participant has already received ₹500 for achieving 10,000 views and later qualifies for the 100,000 view reward within the eligible period, only the remaining balance amount will be paid (₹5,000 − ₹500 already paid = ₹4,500 additional payout).

Higher milestone rewards include previously paid lower milestone rewards and are not paid separately in full multiple times.

Rewards are issued solely at the Company’s discretion after verification.

7. View & Engagement Verification

The Company reserves full authority to verify:

  • Reel views
  • Engagement quality
  • Audience authenticity
  • Traffic sources
  • Compliance with Program rules

The Company may reject any submission suspected of:

  • Artificial engagement
  • Purchased views
  • Engagement pods
  • Spam traffic
  • Manipulated analytics
  • Fraudulent activity

Additionally:

  • Only views generated within the first 7 days from the Reel’s original posting timestamp are eligible for consideration

  • Participants may be required to provide timestamped analytics screenshots or screen recordings for verification

  • Deleted, re-uploaded, edited, archived, or reposted content may become ineligible at the Company’s discretion

Our verification decision shall be final and non-negotiable.

8. Reward Claim Process

Participants may be required to submit:

  • Instagram username
  • Reel link
  • Screenshot of analytics
  • Proof of purchase
  • Payment details

After posting the Reel, participants must submit their Reel link by either:

Failure to properly submit the Reel link may delay or invalidate reward eligibility.

Rewards are generally processed within 7 plus business days after successful verification.

Failure to provide accurate information may result in forfeiture of rewards.

9. Usage Rights & Content License

By participating in this Program, you grant SkillsVault a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, and sublicensable license to:

  • Repost your content
  • Edit, resize, crop, subtitle, or modify your content
  • Use your content in advertisements
  • Use your content on websites, social media, landing pages, emails, or marketing materials
  • Create derivative promotional material from your submission

You acknowledge that no additional compensation, royalties, or approvals are required beyond Program rewards.

10. Intellectual Property

Participants retain ownership of their original content.

However, by participating, participants grant the Company the usage rights described in Section 9.

Participants confirm they own all rights necessary for submitted content.

11. Taxes

Participants are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or reporting obligations arising from rewards received under this Program.

12. Disqualification

The Company reserves the right to disqualify any participant at its sole discretion for:

  • Fraudulent behavior
  • Policy violations
  • Misrepresentation
  • Abuse of the Program
  • Harmful or unethical conduct
  • Attempts to manipulate reward systems
  • Failure to visibly appear in the video as required
  • Failure to clearly display “skillsvault.in” within the video
  • Use of synthetic, deceptive, or AI-generated testimonial content

Disqualification decisions are final.

13. Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be liable for:

  • Technical failures
  • Instagram outages
  • Lost or delayed submissions
  • Account restrictions
  • Algorithmic reach fluctuations
  • Payment delays caused by third parties
  • Any indirect or consequential damages

Participation is entirely voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.

14. Platform Disclaimer

This Program is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta.

Participants release Instagram and Meta from any liability related to this Program.

15. Modification or Termination

The Company reserves the right to:

  • Modify Program rules
  • Change reward amounts
  • Pause or terminate the Program
  • Reject any submission
  • Update these Terms at any time

Changes become effective immediately upon publication.

16. Privacy

Participant information will be handled in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy.

Only information necessary for Program administration and reward processing will be collected.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Andhra Pradesh, India.

All decisions made by SkillsVault regarding eligibility, authenticity, performance verification, and rewards shall be final.
